I’m glad to see someone else has noticed the lack of bike parking in this city. I first looked into getting a bicycle rack close to my work place in Sept. 08 I didn’t get one until June 09 after many phone calls, emails and visits to city hall. The ideal location was close to the entrance where I work but the city told me there was not enough space. My second choice was around the corner from my workplace where I measured the sidewalk and took photos to assist the city with their site assessment. It was quite a long process and it wasn’t until I attended a traffic and transportation meeting where I spoke to a few people about my request that the bike rack was installed. I would like to know how many bicycle parking requests are filled per year and how many requests are rejected and why. I’d also like to know how many bicycle racks the city has a it’s disposal to distribute each year.

I lucked upon this August-September workshop that falls on my holidaze! I was in Vancouver just for this last year but couldn’t find a workshop I wanted at the right ime.
I want in. Is it too late? Let me SVP, I have been obsessed with cob for years and want in!
